Somehow, in the middle of busy careers, long commutes, and packed calendars, we found each other and everything felt a little lighter.

What started as a simple online introduction quickly turned into something that just felt easy. Our first date at Kampai, over sushi and conversation that came naturally, and where Tara learnt that Jer's first trip abroad was to India (and he loved it!).

We spent countless hours traveling back and forth just to learn about each other. Long drives, late nights, and goodbyes were abundant but felt worth it. Those weekends slowly turned into adventures. Colorado mountains, New York City chaos, Toronto food crawls, the Grand Canyon, and sunny days in the Bahamas.

At some point, we realized we were not just dating. We were building a life.

We are opposites in the ways that matter and similar where it matters most; our love for family, morals and values. One of us is tidy... and one of us tries. We both work hard, laugh a lot, and take care of each other.

Our favorite days are the simple ones. Cooking dinner together, playing tennis or pickleball, planning the next trip, or spending time with our families. We are best friends first, partners in everything second, and always each other’s biggest supporters.

In December, on a quiet, perfect day in the Bahamas, Jeremy asked Tara to marry him. It was private, meaningful, and exactly right for us.

Now here we are, getting ready to celebrate with all of you! The people who helped shape our lives and our story.
